BEYOND THE PEACE PROCESS:
WOMEN AND POLITICAL TRANSITIONS
PANEL SERIES
Join the National Democratic Institute (NDI) this Fall for a panel series on Capitol Hill that will bring greater focus to the political participation aspects of the implementation of the 2017 Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Act. The WPS Act and its recently published strategy confirms and expands the role of the United States in promoting women’s political participation around the world.
NDI’s panel discussions will focus on the opportunities for the U.S. to showcase its strong leadership for women’s full integration into the institutions and processes of decision-making that affect their lives, and that of their communities and countries - beyond the peace process.
